  • James H. Lundy

    Chief Executive Officer

    Jim Lundy is the founding Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank of Arizona. Lundy is a 28 year Arizona banking veteran having worked in a variety of commercial banking positions in Phoenix since 1984. Jim received his BA from the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1971 and his JD, also from the University of Arizona, in 1974. He served as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Navy in Charleston, S.C. for three years following law school and then practiced law in Flagstaff from 1977 through the end of 1983 prior to moving to Phoenix to enter the banking industry.

    Lundy currently serves as President of the Arizona Bankers Association, is a Director of the Phoenix Art Museum, Vice-Chair of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and board member and Secretary of the Phoenix Civic Improvement Corp. He is past chair of the Arizona Chapter of Teach for America and a former member of the Board of Governors of the Hon Kachina Council. Lundy is married to Dr. Michele B. Lundy who is a physician on the faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix Campus. The Lundys have four grown children.

  • Duane Froeschle

    Western Alliance Bank

    Duane Froeschle has 35 years of experience in commercial banking including ten years in executive management with the parent company, Western Alliance Bancorporation. In addition to his position as President of Western Alliance Bank, Froeschle is Senior Executive Officer of the Tucson region and is a director of the Company’s Western Alliance Equipment Finance subsidiary. Froeschle joined the parent company in 2002 and served as its Chief Credit Officer from 2002 to 2011. He also served as Vice Chairman of Alliance Bank of Arizona from 2002 to 2010 and Chief Credit Officer of Alliance Bank of Arizona from 2002 until 2007. Froeschle is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia with a B.A. in Economics. He has been active in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations in Tucson and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Tucson Country Club.

  • Ed Zito

    Alliance Bank of Arizona

    Ed Zito serves as President of Alliance Bank of Arizona. Mr. Zito also chairs the bank’s Asset and Liability Management and Investment Committee (ALCO).

    Ed Zito is a recognized business leader in Arizona commercial and investment banking, as well as the public finance sector for over 30 years. He began his career in bank regulatory positions with the U.S. Treasury Department in New York and Washington D.C. He later served in Arizona in senior executive positions with First Interstate Bank (Wells Fargo), including President of First Interstate Equity Corporation. He also served as Regional President and member of the board of directors for Imperial Bank Arizona.

    Also known for his work on economic development and capital formation in Arizona, Zito was the initial Vice Chairman of Arizona Economic Resource Organization (AERO); a Governor mandated public private partnership formed to lead Arizona’s economic development initiatives. He serves on the board of directors of Team ACA (a foundation associated with the Arizona Commerce Authority, the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, Phoenix Community Alliance, Canada Arizona Business Council and Downtown Phoenix Partnership, the Flinn Foundation Bioscience Steering Committee and Capital Formation Committee. Zito holds a masters degree in public administration from the USC, and a B. A degree in economics from Rutgers University.

  • Pamela Chan

    EVP, Chief Financial Officer

    Pamela L. Chan is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Chan has over 22 years of experience in commercial banking and corporate finance. She currently leads corporate finance, treasury, accounting, business planning and branch operations administration. Chan is also chair of Western Alliance Bank’s Risk Management Committee. She is an Advisory Board member of the ASU Downtown Advisory Council and is a former Board member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Chan is also an Honorable Board Member of the Phoenix Chinese School, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She holds a BS in Economics (Cum Laude) from Arizona State University, an MBA in Banking Management from the University of Maryland, and graduated with honors from the National School of Banking at Fairfield University in Connecticut.

  • Steve Dean

    EVP, Chief Credit Officer

    Steve Dean is Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Dean has over 15 years of experience in business and commercial banking, and commercial real estate lending. A native of Tucson, Dean served on the Tucson Regional Water Council and is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Housing Corporation and Education Foundation boards. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. degree in Economics and received a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Washington.
