Alliance Bank of Arizona and its affiliate wealth management company Miller/Russell & Associates has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity - Valley of the Sun to help build a new home near downtown Chandler.
The groundbreaking ceremony, attended by Alliance Bank CEO Jim Lundy and Miller/Russell President Dennis Miller, was held in January at the site of the new home. The commitment of Alliance Bank and Miller/Russell will include some 120 employee volunteers during the four-month build period and a financial donation of $16,250 to Habitat for Humanity.
"As a growing part of the community, Alliance Bank is proud to support the amazing efforts of Habitat for Humanity," said Lundy. "This project is so meaningful, not only in terms of dollars and impact, but the opportunity it provides for our employees to give back and assist a deserving family. We've even had our Tucson employees volunteering their weekends to help."
